I especially loved painting the old oil can because it is so nostalgic and cool looking! Little did I know that my older siblings had a vivid memory of getting in trouble with my dad for using that oil can on an unfinished wood project of his. Still Life with Antique Tools
I paint with high quality archival liquitex acrylics on canvas. I use a limited palette consisting of a warm and cool hue of each of the primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) and Titanium White. There are endless variations of color that can be mixed when using these pure pigments. Paintings on this site come framed. Some have antique frames and some are vintage style. There is an occasional vintage hardwood finished frame which can be viewed clearly in the photo.
